Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (July 18, 2023) – David Gravel maintains the top position in the STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings after a week of money in Eldora as Donny Schatz made his way back into the top ten with a sixth career Kings Royal triumph on Saturday.
Gravel’s advantage over second has grown to 65 markers over Carson Macedo, who makes a move from fourth and gained ground after previously being 99 points off the lead pace. Brad Sweet is another 46 points back in third while Anthony Macri slips from second to fourth after sitting idle the past pair of weekends while stepping away from the family-owned No. 39m.
Macri returns to action to fill the seat of the CMR No. 7bc as ninth-ranked Tyler Courtney is sidelined for a while after a back injury sustained in a Friday night Eldora incident. Rico Abreu rounds out the current top five and is just two points behind Macri.
Brent Marks is sixth after a runner-up Kings Royal finish with Eldora Million Dollar Man Logan Schuchart in seventh. Buddy Kofoid climbs a position to eighth with Courtney and King Donny Schatz filling out the current top ten.
