Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (May 3, 2023) – Davie Franek has regained the lead in the latest edition of the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings.
While Franek holds the lead for the season, Jason Martin ranked as the top points earner during the month of April to vault from unranked into the top ten.
Riding out a month of rainouts and weather-related cancellations, Franek added enough points to overtake mark Smith for the top spot by just six points.
Liberal, KS, native Martin reeled off four feature wins during April, including three during the four-day stretch from April 20-23 with the opening pair of ASCS National Tour wins in Mississippi and Louisiana and then a Malvern Bank 360 win in Nebraska to make a move up to tenth in the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings.
With Franek holding off 2020 top-ranked Smith, last year’s Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings top-ranked driver Justin Sanders jumped up to third with fellow Calli shoes Cole Macedo and D.J. Netto filling out the current top five.
Gavan Boschele sits sixth after scoring his first Sprint Car win in USCS action last weekend with Tyler Clem, Tanner Carrick, Ryan Timms and Martin rounding out the current top ten.
