Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (April 20, 2023) – With Outlaws and USAC already surrendering to unpleasant weather, there is still a wide variety of Sprint Car and Midget racing on the upcoming weekend slate.
And with World of Outlaws canceled at Knoxville and USAC Kokomo Midget Grand Prix wiped out, the Winged 360 ranks take center stage this weekend.
The weekend gets a kickstart with tonight’s ASCS National Tour season opener at Mississippi’s Jackson Speedway. Other 360 action for the weekend includes a USCS double at the Talladega Short Track and the SCCT at Merced as well as season openers for the Great Lakes Super Sprints, Southern Ontario Sprints and United Racing Club before winding down the weekend with a Malvern Bank 360 card at Thayer County on Sunday.
A variety of weekly 410 shows are still on the docket including a potential Posse triple with several wingless cards and a pair of Midget events on tap as well.
As always, check with the track via social media or the old-fashioned phone before making the trek to make sure that all things are still a go.
