Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (April 8, 2023) – Sheldon Haudenschild, Hunter Schuerenberg and Zeb Wise headlined Friday night’s feature winners in Dirt Track action across the land.
Lil’ Haud proved his mastery of U.S. 36 Raceway, ripping around the high banks to take the win ahead of Carson Macedo and Brad Sweet as he scored his second straight World of Outlaws victory at the track after taking a last-lap win over Sweet in 2020.
With All Stars rained out, Schuerenberg bested a field of 48 at West Burlington, Iowa’s 34 Raceway as the IRA and MOWA kicked off the season. Schuerenberg took the first night of the two-night 34 stand over fellow All Star hopeful Parker Price-Miller and “Quickest Chicken” Chase Randall.
While All Star contenders Schuerenberg and Price-Miller ventured to 34 Raceway and Tyler Courtney took on Outlaws in Missouri with a top-ten finish, Zeb Wise ventured east with the Rudeen Racing No. 26 team. The moved paid off, with Wise taking last lap honors away from Anthony Macri as Freddie Rahmer settled for third after leading much of the way.
Other Friday night winners included Jason Martin, who took the Malvern Bank 360 opener at Shelby County with Cody Fletcher besting the 358’s at Williams Grove and Kenny Miller III taking USAC East Coast honors at Georgetown Speedway.
