Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (April 5, 2023) – Mark Smith has supplanted previous leader Davie Franek for the top spot in the Iatest Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings.
After picking up his second win of the year last Friday night in USCS action at Travelers Rest, SC, Smith has nabbed the number one ranking by just one single point over Franek. Smith topped the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings in 2020.
With Smith and USCS Winter Heat champ Franek out front, Oklahoma City teen Ryan Timms sits third with Terry McCarl and Floridian Tyler Clem rounding out the current top five.
North Carolina young gun Gavan Boschele has climbed from 22nd to sixth with Chris Martin, Cole Macedo, Justin Sanders and Aaron Reutzel filling out the top ten. After topping last year’s Rod End Supply Winged 360 Power Rankings, Sanders is two-for-two in Cali action with a pair of Placerville triumphs including one in the recent SCCT season opener.
