Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (March 4, 2023) – A pair of Winged 360 events headlined Friday night’s Sprint Car events with Davie Franek and Tanner Carrick each picking up feature wins.

New Jersey’s Franek raced from the front row outside starting position to extend his lead in the USCS Winter Heat series by taking the win in the opening night of Hattiesburg Speedway’s “Hub City 200” ahead of seventh-starter Mark Smith with Dale Howard, Terry Gray and Matt Covington rounding out the top five. It was Franek’s second win of the season.

Meanwhile in California, Carrick wired the field in the 15^th Sherm and Loree Toller Memorial.  Carrick took the checkered flag ahead of three-time event winner Andy Forsberg with Dawson Hammes, Brad Bumgarner and Luke Hayes rounding out the top five.

Both drivers earned $2,000 for their victories.
