Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (September 27, 2022) – After several lead changes along the way this season, C.J. Leary stays atop the charts in the latest edition of the 2022 Non-Wing Sprint Car Power Rankings.
Leary has added another half-dozen top-ten finishes over the past three weekends including a runner-up finish in Saturday’s Four Crown Nationals at Eldora to extend his lead to 30 points over Four Crown winner Justin Grant.
Leary, who topped the 2019 Non-Wing Power Rankings, has posted nine feature wins thus far and leads the way in top-tens with 37.
Grant is just one off the pace in the win column as he takes aim at the top ranking after finishing second in Non-Wing Power Rankings three times in the previous five years.
After topping the Non-Wing Power Rankings over each of the past two years, Brady Bacon is currently 66 points off the lead pace in third with Robert Ballou and September 9-10 weekend sweeper Jake Swanson rounding out the top five.
Kyle Cummins has moved past Chase Stockon for sixth with Stockon holding off rookie shoe Emerson Axsom by eight points for seventh. Jason McDougal is night with Jadon Rogers rounding out the current top ten after capturing his first USAC win at Haubstadt on September 17.
