Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (September 9, 2022) – Justin Sanders maintains his hold on the lead in the latest edition of the 2022 Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings.
Sanders has extended his advantage to 134 points over Canada’s Dylan Westbrook with Terry McCarl just another five points back in third.
While the top three of Sanders, Westbrook and McCarl remains the same, it’s Shane Golobic that has been on the move in recent weeks with three wins to climb all the way from 11th to fourth and within three points of McCarl in third.
Golobic’s recent run of wins includes a triumph over a field of 44 at Placerville on August 27 before a Nor Cal Posse Shootout triumph at Placerville as well on September 3 and then an SCCT Gold Cup kickoff win on Wednesday night to run his season win total in the winged 360 ranks to seven.
Davie Franek fills out the current top five, with Wayne Johnson, Blake Hahn, Aaron Reutzel, Tanner Carrick and Chase Randall completing the current top ten. Like fellow Californian Golobic, Carrick also made his way into he top ten after being previously ranked 14th.
Golobic and Carrick supplanted Garet Williamson and Andy Forsberg from the top ten.
