Marks Holds STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings Lead as Macedo Closes the Gap!

Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (September 8, 2022) – Brent Marks continues to hold down the top spot in the latest edition of the STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings.

But the Myerstown Missile’s lead continues to shrink, as Carson Macedo has closed to within 42 points with Brad Sweet just another 40 points back in third.

Marks added his 15th win of the year last Friday night with an All Star Circuit of Champions score at Sharon Speedway and has pushed top-five and top-ten totals to 41 and 52, respectively.

After adding his 13th win of the season on Monday night in WoO competition at Washington’s Grays Harbor Raceway, Macedo continues to close the gap.

Both drivers are in action this weekend in premier events at opposite ends of the country as Marks takes on the All Stars in Port Royal Speedway’s $55,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 while Macedo in WoO action in California at Silver Dollar Speedway’s $25,000-to-win Gold Cup.

Top-ranked in two of the last three years, Sweet is still in contention in the third position with David Gravel another 23 points back in fourth and Justin Peck in fifth.

Current All Stars points leader Tyler Courtney is sixth as only 1115 points separate the top six with the nation’s winningest driver Anthonhy Macri holding down seventh.  Danny Dietrich has moved back up to eighth with Donny Schatz and Sheldon Haudenschild filling out the current top ten.

Macedo has tallied the most points over the past 30 days, edging Gravel by 14 points.  The top ten over the past 30 days are as follows:
