Schatz with the Hot Hand as Marks Maintains STIDA Winged 410 Power Rankings Lead!

Lonnie Wheatley, INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 24, 2022) – Donny Schatz has had the hottest of hands in the Winged 410 Sprint  Car ranks over the past 30 days, as evidenced by his 11th career Knoxville Nationals triumph on August 13.

While Schatz has climbed to eighth on the season, it is still Brent Marks leading the way in the 2022 edition of the STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings.

Even after adding his 14th win of the season with an All Star triumph at New York’s Outlaw Speedway on Friday night, Marks’ lead is beginning to dwindle as Carson Macedo has closed to within 62 points after WoO finishes of first and second at the Jackson Nationals on Saturday.

Trying for the top spot for the third time in four years, Brad Sweet is another 43 points back in third with David Gravel making a jump from seventh to fourth as Justin Peck fills out the current top five after picking off another All Star win at Utica-Rome.

Tyler Courtney remains sixth while Anthony Macri has slipped to seventh.  Schatz has moved to eighth with Danny Dietrich and Sheldon Haudenschild completing the current top ten.

Schatz has racked up the most points over the last 30 days, outdistancing Macedo by 30 markers with Gravel, Logan Schuchart and Sweet also among the past month’s top points earners.   The past month’s top ten are as follows:
