Lonnie Wheatley, INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 23, 2022) – California’s Justin Sanders continues to slip away from the rest of the pack in the latest edition of the Rod End Supply Winged 360 Sprint Car Power Rankings.
While staying busy in Winged 410 action aboard the Swindell Speedlab entry by racing into the Knoxville Nationals finale and then posting a runner-up finish in the inaugural High Limit event, Sanders returned to 360-ci action this past weekend with a pair of top-five finishes at Ocean Speedway.
After running his top-five total on the season to 24 with 11 of those in victory lane, Sanders holds a 116-point advantage over Canada’s Dylan Westbrook with Terry McCarl jumping a pair of positions to third, just another 15 points back.
Davie Franek has slipped a position to fourth with Wayne Johnson filling out the current top five.
Aaron Reutzel jumped a pair of positions to sixth after winning Knoxville’s 360 Nationals with Chase Randall climbing a pair of positions as well to seventh after picking off his sixth win of the year on Sunday night in Quincy, IL.
Current ASCS National Tour points leader Blake Hahn sits eighth with Andy Forsberg the second Cali rep among the top ten in ninth.
Missouri’s Garet Williamson makes his way into the top ten after a fourth-place run in Knoxville 360 Nationals preliminary action and putting it in the big show on the Saturday finale.
