Marks Extends STIDA Winged 410 Power Rankings Lead!

Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (July 7, 2022) – After moving atop the STIDA Winged 410 Sprint Car Power Rankings midway through Pennsylvania Speedway, Brent Marks finished out the week in strong fashion to extend his STIDA Power Ranking lead.

Marks won five of nine PA Speedweek events including four in a row before Danny Dietrich finally stopped him in the Selinsgrove finale.  Marks finished no worse than third in the nine events with a pair of runner-ups and a pair of third-place finishes to go with his handful of wins that pushed his season win total to 11.

Marks finished second as well in Wednesday night’s All Star-sanctioned “Don Martin Memorial” at Lernerville, where Myerstown Missile chased “Yung Money” Kyle Larson to the stripe in the $25,000-to-win event.

With the recent stretch of strong runs that includes 13 consecutive podium finishes, Marks has opened his lead up to 59 markers over All Star contender Justin Peck.  Marks and Peck rank as the only drivers with over 30 top-fives on the season thus far, with both having 31.  Peck leads the way in top-tens at 42 with Marks next on the list with 39.

Leading the way in wins at 14, Anthony Macri holds down third another 52 points back while Dietrich has overtaken Tyler Courtney for fourth.  The balance of the current top ten remains the same with Carson Macedo, Sheldon Haudenschild, Brad Sweet, David Gravel and Logan Schuchart in positions six through ten.
