Kofoid in Command of Midget Power Rankings after Second IMW Title!

Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (June 15, 2022) – Michael “Buddy” Kofoid strengthened his grasp on the Midget Power Rankings after racing to his second consecutive USAC Indiana Midget Week championship.

Kofoid topped the opening two legs of Indiana Midget Week after a score at Granite City and finished among the top five in four of five events to extend his lead to 46 points over Justin Grant, with whom tensions rose during IMW Round Three at Haubstadt.

While Grant holds down the second position, Cannon McIntosh maintains third after finishing off an otherwise troublesome Midget Week with a triumph in the Kokomo finale.

Bryant Wiedeman still sits fourth as Thomas Meseraull climbs a spot to fifth after a Haubstadt win.

A strong Midget Week moves Kaylee Bryson up to sixth with Mitchel Moles tailing her in seventh.  Christopher Bell is eighth with Zach Daum breaking into the top ten from 20th and Brenham Crouch making his way into the top ten as well.

The biggest current mover is Jacob Denney, as he jumped from 51st to 12th after a Putnamville win during Midget Week and then a runner-up in the finale at Kokomo.

The Midget Power Rankings are a part of the Open Wheel Power Rankings that also includes STIDA Winged 410s, Non-Wing Sprint Cars and Rod End Supply Winged 360s.
