Lonnie Wheatley, BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (May 5, 2022) – Concord, California’s Damion Gardner continues to lead the way in the 2022 edition of the Non-Wing Sprint Car Power Rankings.
After adding a fifth USAC/CRA win at Mohave Valley on April 23, Gardner has stretched his advantage from 12 points to 18 over C.J. Leary.
Leary climbed a position from third to second, bypassing Sprint Car rookie contender Emerson Axsom that now sits third. Following a near-win in Saturday’s Sokola Classic at Perris, Charles Davis, Jr., has climbed a position to fourth while Jake Swanson has gained a handful of positions to climb to fifth after posting wins at Lincoln Park Speedway (April 16) and Paragon (April 23).
Shane Cockrum sits sixth with Saturday night Sokola winner Matt Mitchell moving up to seventh as Robert Ballou, Chase Stockon and Justin Grant fill out the current top ten.
